Meet your hosts

Primrose House Retreat was born from a shared love of creativity, family, and meaningful connection.  As sisters, we've spent a lifetime crafting, quilting, and creating together.  Now, we are privileged to open a retreat where quilters can slow down, feel at home, and immerse themselves in their craft.  With backgrounds rooted in family business, hospitality, and hands-on creativity, we understand the importance of thoughtful details, comfortable spaces, and genuine welcome.  Our goal is simple: to offer a retreat that feels inspiring, peaceful, and personal - like quilting with family.

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother who treasures time spent with my grandchildren and family.  My husband, Randy, and I have been married for 38 years and have built our life around family, hard work, and creating welcoming places for others.  Together, we have been involved in rental real estate for more than two decades, giving me a strong foundation in hospitality, organization, and caring for the details that make a space feel like home.

Randy brings a background in construction, farming, and over 20 years of rental property management and maintenance and ensuring everything runs smoothly.  When he isn't working, he enjoys spending time outdoors and hunting.

I enjoy sewing and quilting.  Opening this retreat with my sister allows me to combine creativity, family, and hospitality in a place where guests can relax, connect, and feel truly at home.

I am a mother and grandmother with a background in education and business management.  I took my first quilting class  over 15 years ago and I was hooked!  I  thrive on building meaningful relationships and spending time with others.  One of my favorite aspects of quilting is diving into techniques and patterns I haven't tried before.  I enjoy the challenge of designing my own patterns, and  I especially love teaching others to enjoy quilting, whether they're picking up a rotary cutter for the first time, building their skills, or figuring out the solution to a "creative mishap." 

My dream of owning a quilt retreat house was inspired by a "mini" retreat with my mom and sister several years ago.  That simple little retreat at Mom's house began our personal tradition of annual quilt retreats together.   Primrose House brings my dream to life - allowing me to  share my heart for hospitality, love for all things quilting and crafting, and the joy of shared creativity. My hope is that Primrose House will feel like a home away from home where guests can rest, relax, laugh, connect, and let their creativity shine.
